Infant Oral Healthcare
Providing Pediatric Dentistry in the Tappan & Rockland, NY Area
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends for a child to be seen by a dentist by age one year or 6 months after the eruption of a child’s first tooth. When a child is seen by age one, Dr. Fisher and Dr. Reddy can help you, as a parent, establish a preventive oral health plan as your child’s baby teeth erupt. At the initial visit, we will discuss with you proper oral hygiene care, diet and feeding practices, fluoride recommendations, and pacifier/thumb-sucking habits. By providing information on infant oral healthcare, we hope to help parents establish the best dental health practices for their child.
