Meet Dr. Fisher
Dr. Edward Fisher, known to many children as “Dr. Tooth,” has been a vibrant part of the community since moving to Rockland County and opening his practice in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Fisher believes that children should have a dental experience that makes them feel comfortable. He encourages a setting which offers excellent dentistry in an atmosphere that gives children the opportunity to be a part of their dental treatment.Dr. Fisher grew up in the Bronx, attended college in the Bronx, and was a teacher in a Bronx junior high school and a high school on Long Island. After teaching for three years, getting married, and becoming a father, he decided it was time to begin his lifelong dream. He attended New York University College of Dentistry, and continued his training in General Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Fisher has two sons, Scott and Andrew, and has been married to Raselle since 1965. He has two dogs, Brandy and Jada, who are very special in his life. He loves to play golf and is an avid photographer. He is active in the Rotary Club of Pearl River and has been a trustee of the Pearl River Board of Education and the Orangetown Town Board. Dr. Fisher is presently on the Board of Directors of United Hospice of Rockland County. Dr. Fisher has been honored by many organizations and would be glad to talk about them with you at any time. |
