Meet Dr. Reddy
Dr. Varsha Reddy is full of enthusiasm when it comes to her job as a pediatric dentist! Joining our team in 2005, Dr. Reddy is dedicated to helping our young patients learn the value of good oral health. Her compassionate nature and warm smile help make our practice a comfortable, friendly, happy place for your child!Dr. Reddy completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Biology. She then joined New York University College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Her training continued through New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan where she completed her General Practice Residency. Afterwards, she pursued advanced specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan where she was awarded her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Reddy is licensed in the state of New York to practice dentistry and to provide dental treatment under general anesthesia in a hospital setting. She is a board-certified pediatric dentist, having earned her Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2007. We are very proud of her board-certification in pediatric dentistry and her extensive training guides her to treat children with the most advanced procedures, dental materials, and behavior management techniques. Dr. Reddy is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Association. Dr. Reddy also maintains attending privileges at Nyack Hospital in Nyack, New York, and volunteers her time at Jawonio in New City, New York, as a member of their craniofacial team. She can also be found out in the community visiting local schools and promoting oral health care. In addition to Dr. Reddy’s professional background, she also holds a wide range of interests. She has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, India, Thailand, Central America, South Africa, and Australia and is always researching the next place to visit. She has been married to Dr. Satish Tiyyagura, a cardiologist, since 2004. She also enjoys a good morning workout and has a deep love for all things related to food. |
